my dramebaazi aside*...this is nothing more than my little attempt to capture
the immensity n importance of their first love scene through my words...but
those who know me...understand too well that most often my so called “little”
attempts turn out to be long essays easily eligible to be submitted for an
essay competition..phewwww....
Anyways,
as usual...the aim of this post is to act as a platform for u all to do ur
share of ARSHIYAAN....so guys as keeping healthy is the most ‘IN ‘ thing these
days, give some much needed exercise to ur pretty fingers *wink wink* and pour
your heart out...

starters, THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED * I sooooo much wanted to write this

archetypal , most arrogant yet most intriguing HERO whom we always love to hate
in the beginning *just like our extra
sweet n idealistic HEROINE* but yet
hopelessly n secretively are in love with, from the very start...,,,,*now this
is called JALEBI TALKS*

dare to say is that “ HE IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE MOST CONVINCING N IDENTIFIABLE MR.
DARCY IN INDIAN MEDIA HISTORY INCLUDING BOTH BOLLYWOOD N TELLYWOOD”,,,,,

TO MR. SOBTI..he injected life into a
character soo eternal n timeless yet soo complicated n overused and still succeeded
in bringing a novelty and distinctiveness to it..creating his own adaptation of
MR. DARCY so beautifully that today ‘ASR’
DEFINES ‘MR DARCY’ MORE PERFECTLY THAN ‘MR. DARCY’ HIMSELF...*kya karoon
exaggeration is in my veins*
Maybe it
was his bluntness n haughtiness , what attracted us to HIM....made us fall in
love with HIM from the very first instant..or may be it was bcoz here was one
dangerously brooding, extremely self centered man who had the capability to
send chill down any girl’s spine just with a glimpse of his thrilling looks...
His raw
sexual appeal..hotness emanated by those fiery eyes, his casual disposition of
possessing the 3 basic qualities much required in any hero..arey wahi TALL,DARK
AND HANDSOME...the sheer rudeness reflected in his body language, his sarcastic
wittiness ,his extra carefully guarded heart....all radiated a mystery..a
challenge...MAKING HIM MUCH MORE IRRESTIBLE N ENGIMATIC..
He was
stylish...he was unpredictable....he was angry with the world and was very
distant from emotions....

austen hangover has returned these days with full bang* AND KHUSHI WAS LIZZY OF ASR’S LIFE...
She was
vivacious..she was funny...she was cute..she was adorable..she was charming..she
was sweet, she was naive, she was innocent, she was clumsy, she was bubbly,
SHE WAS A
RARE BEAUTY,,,
SHE WAS FULL
OF LIFE,,,
SHE WAS HAPPINESS
PERSONIFIED...
But
hey...she was no joker...she knew her mind, she was idealistic to the core and
she has a deep rooted belief system which she respected & maintained.
She believed
in wit but her humour was soft ...not rough & dry as our hero...
She
believed in speaking non-stop, the concept not much approved by our hero...
She
believed in GOD...while for our hero it was just another word of dictionary.
She was
obnoxious ‘too ‘ but her assertiveness
was never rude....
She was
spirited the word which of course our hero was never aware of..
YET..
She
believed in family, just like our hero..
She too
was extremely protective of her dear ones, just like our hero...
She too had
faced harsh realities of life, just like our hero..
AND She
too was brilliant in hiding her hurt, just like our hero...
IN
NUTSHELL,SHE WAS EVERYTHING WHICH HE WAS NOT....
YET SHE
WAS QUITE THE SAME...

who understood the deep thought behind this apparently confusing sentence..gets
the JALEBI AWARD*
She was
the god chosen balance of his life...If he was the burning hydrogen then she
was the life-giving oxygen ...and well we all know the first equation of
chemistry .....dont we????
*EUREKA
EUREKA....for the first time in my life,I am proud of the fact that I topped in
my chemistry classes bcoz suddenly while writing this post I have discovered
the reason for their sizzling chemistry*
THEY
SYMBOLIZED WATER IN THEIR UNISON.....*maybe thats why they look so calm &
serene when they are together...*
Anyways, coming
back to the topic loooooooonnnngggggggg lost, here’s how they first met......
Khushi
has indicated from the first scene itself that her ultimate favourite hobby in
life was to invite trouble...and look how she invited the biggest trouble into
her life which was going to change her life for EVER....
Yes she
was afraid like hell when she found herself standing at the centre of that
forbidding RAMP....and then found herself being insisted on to walk...all
confused in her approach..she was being drifted till she reached a point where her eyes turned and her looks clashed
with the most killer looks she has ever seen...his face was burning hot..his
eyes were distributing fire works around...and unable to handle the heated gaze
she did some more of her characteristic ‘JACK N JILL” tossing & tumbling
till there she was ...RIGHT IN HIS ARMS...
Ahhhhhhhhhhh......THE
FALL.....
I always
wondered why its called ‘falling’ in LOVE....but hey now I understand..after
watching quite a literal demonstration
of the theory by our leading couple...
And the
gaze was locked....
Her quivering
lips & heated rasps of broken breadths.., His angry eyes & sunken
cheeks ....ALL SIGNS WERE RIGHT THERE FROM THE VERY START...

was more amazed,,,,bcoz she was a damn beauty and he was after all a

the scorching hot man, the angelic beauty, the stage that destiny choose, she entered into his life, he opened his eyes to a new journey and then happened the first fall of love
she found the place to be, he found the woman to be with, the mind might not have but those eyes knew what they had found
i dont know if he is darcy(asr had more pride, he was THE ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA) and if she is liz (khushi was not that prejudiced) but i know they are and will remain as epic as darcy and liz...
even if they were those usual characters of indian television, the rude boss and the sweet girl, arnav and khushi made these characters unusual, they had something which the others never did...i dont know if it was their chemistry...i dont know if it was hero being the anti-hero (as dark as he was when the show started)...or was it because for the first time maybe one could feel that innocence that purity of the leading lady so well...the reason for the magic, the magic of arshiasm is a mystery to me...a mystery i love to dwell in all the time even when i know there is no answer that i seek...
and you my friend make me fall in that mystery of their love again and again with each post of yours and this one well what more does an arshain need...a big tight hug to you for this mind blowing post...

I agree tht ASR failed even MR. DARCY in his pride
and khushi was not as prejudiced as LIZZY...AND MAYBE THATS THE REASON WHICH MADE THEM MORE 'EPIC' IN OUR EYES ATLEAST...but one can never rule out the similarities in the characters...HE WAS THE ANTI HERO AND SHE WAS THE PUURFFECT BLEND OF REBELLION N IDEALISM...
JANE AUSTEN CHARACTERS HAVE BEEN BASIS OF SOOO MANY HEROES N HEROINES OF ALL KIND OF LOVE STORIES ALL OVER THE WORLD SINCE CENTURIES....THAT THEY HAVE BECAME DAMN BASIC...
maybe when conceptualizing the story..creatives had only tht BASIC characters in their minds but even creatives would have never thought tht these two actors would take these two simple telly-logically defined AND AUSTEN PRIMED characters to heights of such gr8 complexities...YAA ITS A MYSTERY WHICH MAYBE EVEN SOBTI N SANAYA CAN'T DECIPHER...
its not as if we have never seen ANTI HEROES before..its not as if we havent watched HAPPY GO LUCKY HEROINES before...THERE WAS SOMETHING IN THE STORY...THERE WAS SOMETHING IN THE CHARACTERIZATION..AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THERE WAS SOME INNER CONNECTION BETWEEN THESE TWO ACTORS WHEN THEIR EYES MET..even if on reels for enacting a scene only..IT WAS MYSTERIOUSLY MAGICAL...
THE ACTORS MAY GO ON TO BECAME STARS....but they have delivered their MASTER PIECES...

ReplyDeleteHi Mansi, missed u honey and missed ur posts, i haven't read it all yet, yet what i've read was just amazing, wow, these tow are my favorite couple, they are breathtaking, and since their first meeting i fell in love with them too, this scene was a wonderful one and Barun and Sanaya did a great job in conveying the right feeling to us, it was so convincing, all the ingredients of a new love story between tow different people were there, and the most successful love stories are these that come after a quarrel or a misunderstanding. I might not be able to stand a person like ASR in my real life even if he is a candy coz of the amount of humiliations Khushi did have to stand ( I admire her by the way, she could transform ASR) but in tv i always love explosive love stories, they are not boring and they transmit a great intensity and passion. Now, coming to my views on the first scene... Well, to be honest, none of the awesome lines you've said here were running through my mind when I watched the very first episode of IPKKND. All I could see was a sweet, innocent girl fall in the arms of the man who hands down won the award for the most ruthless eyes of the year. It was interesting to watch, but today when I watch it, I experience a whole new set of emotions, its nothing like that first day. Today when I watch it, it seems magical, at that moment I was just intrigued, so much so that I would maybe watch the next episode to know what happens, but nothing out-of-the world sort that I could fall instantly in love with. It was a plain scene, and at the end of it, I had just the one word in mind - "NICE!"
But over time that NICE changed to AWESOME, to BEAUTIFUl, then to MAGNIFICENT, and then finally to a point where words are just isn't enough to describe it.
Today, I its almost like I feel their every movement, every blink, every heartbeat - getting into the scene, literally!
ABF, an idea just ran through my mind...Could u make a post dedicated to the, umm.. how to say it.... the DUPATTA, peleej? *sounding stupid to myself as I say that, but my ArShi-ism knows no limits*

There are so many more such scenes... In short, all throughout their love story it was a thing which had played the most pivotal role, almost as much important as ArShi themselves, giving us sooo many of our fav romantic scenes... Ek post toh banta hai boss!! *wink*

The one thing that they din't mention is that our desi darcy no matter how tough he acted or the mask which he wore.Beneath it was a VULNERABLE MAN,who could just melt away by a single tear drop in his lady love's eyes.That was the most endearing quality of his,which we all fell in love with inspite of the hard ships he made her to go through.
Ok when we talked about darcy so much how can we forget our DESI MULGI MRS.KKGSR URF ELIZABETH BENNET

i would disagree with the statement impertinance that does not offend not 2 any1 exept to his excellency MR.LAAD GOVERNOR,thats the reson she landed herself in so much trouble or should i say so much in love later.It was this quality of her which our hero was amazed it but sumhow it was the same reason he always felt a pull of attraction towards khushi,cz none ever stood up to him n spoke.
Also our kkgsr wasn't proud in anywhich way n ya she was not that capable of judging the intentions of others,u all klnow who am i referring to HE-WHO-MUST-NOT BE NAMED.

My most fav part was when he was ogling oops luking at her quivering lips(did it meant he was attracted to her from the time he saw her.I thot he was attaracted to her after seeing herin that red saree.Idk the one who clears my confusion gets a jalebis from our sponsor ABF *wink*)
I know all of u will kick me for this but i so hated asr in this scene initially when i saw it,i was like WHAT THE,how can this dude treat her la that.
The way he ripped that pearls from her blouse,the way he insulted her about her financial status,he even assassinated her character to bits.
If i wer khushi i wud just *give a peck on his cheeks* heheheehe can't help it girls,just look at him did he not look like handsome devil with those fiery eyes
